Shalom Flotation and Wellness center has new Address in Pune
About one and a half year ago, ‘normal life’ as we know it came to an abrupt halt. Everything shut down and all of us were forced to remain confined within the four walls of our homes. Naturally, the never seen before nor predicted pandemic took a toll on people physically, mentally and emotionally. It was as though we’re living in a dystopian film setting, only this time it was real.
What unfolded in the coming months was heightened levels of anxiety due to increased workload, no time for a digital transition and everyone needing some sort of clarity but getting none. Today, it is difficult to find a single person who is not stressed about something, be it a healthy young child or a senior citizen. Health is of paramount importance and so is relaxation.
Gripped by the pandemic, Shalom Float and Wellness Centre, India’s first dedicated Floatation Therapy Centre also closed abruptly in March 2020. At Shalom, the one thing that’s common is the testimony of people who’ve floated. Some are relieved from muscle soreness, some have decreased back and neck pains, some are gushing about their glowing skin and some are excited to pursue their dreams after getting their undivided me-time. Sensing the immense contribution that Flotation Therapy can provide in times like these, on 15th August 2021, the centre reopened to welcome customers in accordance with all government guidelines and safety protocols. Previously based in Koregaon Park, it has now shifted to Aundh towards west Pune.
Incorporated in 2015, Shalom Float and Wellness Centre is India’s first dedicated Floatation Therapy Centre that offers a luxurious way to soothe and heal the body from constant stress. With an experience of over 5 years in the wellness industry, this time around its bigger and better by adding a variety of services to its portfolio.

Safety procedures including temperature checks for employees, the use of hand sanitizer and masksand social distancing protocols such as limiting the number of people in the wellness centre have been implemented.
Shalom Float and Wellness centre is the first dedicated float centre to open in India at Pune. It provides Floatation therapy in a sensory deprivation tank known as Relaxopod(the pod is in the form of an oyster shell)and Relaxoroom(Open float tank) to relax and rejuvenate in zero gravity.
