Assured Cyber Protection Selected for Prestigious Cyber Runway Grow Accelerator Programme
Assured Cyber Protection (ACP) selected to join the prestigious London based Plexal accelerator programme.
London, United Kingdom Dec 7, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – Assured Cyber Protection, a next-generation technology cyber innovator, has announced its selection to Plexal’s Cyber Runway Growth programme. ACP is one of a handful of companies chosen to participate in this prestigious programme that assists in elevating innovative technology companies to the forefront of cybersecurity in the UK. Cyber Runway has been designed to address some of the biggest challenges facing cybersecurity, such as diversity and inclusion and regional representation, and support the most promising innovators at various stages of growth.
The full membership list confirms that Cyber Runway will not only be the largest cyber start-up accelerator in the UK but the most diverse community of cyber founders across the nation. The programme, funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS) and supported by Deloitte, CyLon, and the Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT), is designed to strengthen the UK’s cyber ecosystem and accelerate cyber start-up growth.
Selection to the programme is highly competitive. Cyber companies must demonstrate why their solutions differentiate from their competitors, the sustainability of their business model, the capacity for growth, and their ability to support the ecosystem.
ACP will benefit through collaborative partnerships and increased exposure to investors that will facilitate their growth to take the business to the next level.
“The UK’s cyber threat is ever-present and has continued to evolve over the past year. While there are a variety of threats from different actors, there is one thing in common; they all lead to real-world impact. As members of Plexal’s Cyber Runway programme, we have a better chance of being instrumental in making the UK a safer place”, said Andrew Clarke, Chief Strategy Officer at ACP. He continued “ACP is doing some exciting work and breaking new ground around detecting vulnerabilities and protecting against attacks at a very holistic level that incorporates 4 key threat surfaces – people, policy, process, and technology”.
