KBRA Assigns Preliminary Ratings to Shamrock Residential 2023-1 DAC

DUBLIN–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#KBRA–KBRA Europe (KBRA) assigns preliminary ratings to seven classes of notes issued by Shamrock Residential 2023-1 DAC. The transaction is a static RMBS securitisation collateralised by predominantly reperforming mortgage loans (RPL). The underlying collateral consists of a €336.7 million mixed portfolio of seasoned first lien performing and re-performing mortgages that are secured by owner occupied (OO, 91.0%), buy to let (BTL, 8.4%) and non-residential (CRE, 0.6%) properties located in Ireland. The loans in the portfolio were originated by ten originators with Permanent TSB plc (PTSB, 47.0%) and EBS DAC (EBS, 20.0%) representing the largest original originators within the portfolio.

The loans are serviced by Start Mortgages DAC and Mars Capital Finance Ireland DAC, both servicers have meaningful number of years of experience servicing re-performing loans and loans deep in arrears.
