Illinois company marks 30-year anniversary with expanded footprint and staff promotions
BLOOMINGDALE, Ill.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Assemblies Unlimited founder and CEO, Randy Shaw, has announced the firm is marking 30 years in business. Established in 1993, the Illinois Contract Packaging Company commemorates its thirtieth year this November and is celebrating 3 decades of providing custom packaging solutions to a global customer base thru an established US vendor network of unique contract packaging companies, contract fillers, and fulfillment partners.
Assemblies Unlimited Inc. (AUI) originally organized to improve existing supplier networks and facilitate packaging and fulfillment projects. The company’s early networking efforts focused on secondary packaging solutions such as blister packaging and shrink-wrapping, as well as point-of-purchase (POP) display and kit assembly. As the packaging industry evolved into the 21st century, AUI owner, Randy Shaw, identified opportunities to pivot and expand. “Our focus shifted when some elements of the domestic packaging industry migrated overseas. In order to address the broad outsourcing needs of US companies, we expanded our services and emphasized food packaging capabilities for both primary and secondary applications.
