LOCAL BUSINESSES DONATE CAR TO CRASH VICTIM

In late 2023, Fastlane Motor Group (a local car dealership) sold a Mitsubishi Pajero Mini to young woman, Lara-Louise Bama. Only a few months later, Lara-Louise was involved in a horrific crash on Hale Street in Paddington, when a 19 year old p-plater smashed his Toyota Celica into the back of her, flipping her vehicle and crashing into another. Dashcam footage of the accident was aired on abc brisbane: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7bFhhpP8MZ/?igsh=MXZ0OGc4YnkxdDNseA%3D%3D

Unbelievably, she walked away from the crash with minor cuts and bruises. However, the P-plater who crashed into her was uninsured, and Lara-Louise was left not only without a car, but a finance loan that she still needed to pay off.

Charlie Dawson, Director of Fastlane Motor Group, saw Lara-Louise’s husband post photos of the crashed car in a Pajero Mini enthusiasts facebook group and recognised her and the vehicle immediately. After hearing her story, Charlie reached out to a number of his subcontractors and they pulled together to gift Lara-Louise a Mitsubishi Pajero Mini to replace her crashed one – free of charge.

We captured the moment Lara-Louise was presented with her free car, and we thought you may be interested in sharing our story. Video Footage and images can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/ESsIl184b4w?feature=shared
