The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport run by the Adani Group is all set to move to a new terminal by April 2025. The completion of the terminal was initially stated for December 2024. However, there have been certain postponements and business operations were delayed because of certain modifications that were made to the airport development plan. The Plans For The New Terminal:

The Union Cabinet has already approved the leasing of the Guwahati airport for operation, management, and development to Adani Enterprises. The company also has plans to install an advanced lighting system which will reduce the visibility requirement for pilots from 1300 m to 550m. During the subsequent phases, the company plans to develop maintenance, repair, and operation plans for all facilities.
