Adani Creates New Subsidiary to Offer Consultancy Services to Its Customers

Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of the Adani Group, has recently incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary called Adani GCC Private Limited. This new company was established on 24th September 2024. It will focus on offering different management and business consultancy services. This marks the Adani Group’s entry into the consultancy sector. It will allow the Adani Group to earn excellent revenue for itself. The conglomerate will once again be able to acquire the trust of its customers after the Adani Investigation.

The Formation of Adani GCC

Adani GCC received its certificate of incorporation on 25th September. The company has been set up with a paid-up share capital of INR 5 lakh. This capital has been divided into 50,000 equity shares each having a face value of INR 10. The parent entity has subscribed 100% of the share capital in cash. The company has been registered in Ahmedabad and it will offer a plethora of services in the management and consulting sector. It will also compete with some of the biggest names in the consulting space.

The Main Purpose Behind Forming Adani GCC

As per recent reports, Adani GCC will be mainly focusing on offering business and management consultancy services. This involves business transformation, business process management, and digital transformation services. The company will also offer back office services including human resources, finance, accounts, and IT services. It will also focus on data entry, processing, mining, and analytics. Other than that, the company will take control of supply chain procurement, administrative and logistics support services.

The Diversification of Portfolio

The strategic aim to form a new subsidiary aligns with Adani Enterprises’ strategy to diversify its service offerings. It will allow the company to build an enhanced presence for itself in the consultancy sector. Adani GCC is going to be a new name in the consultancy space. It will bring the robust backing of the Adani Group. However, it will still be required to establish its reputation and build itself an enhanced client base to compete with the big players in this particular sector. As a new player, Adani GCC will also be required to build its credibility in the competitive market.  Only then will it be able to give the Adani Group’s business a boost. The global conglomerate will also be able to recover from the losses it suffered during the Adani Investigation.

Firms like McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, and Deloitte already have a global footprint in the IT sector. These companies come with decades of experience. They have a long history of implementing successful projects. These companies also offer highly specialised services. They have enhanced expertise in various functional areas. So, to outshine these big names, the company is required to build itself an extraordinary presence and also earn the trust of the customers. The established firms also have a diverse client base. Many of them are Fortune 500 companies. However, it is expected that Adani GCC will utilise the Adani Group’s existing relationships with the clients and its market presence to secure the initial clients for its business.

Adani Enterprises’ Presence Across the Global Business Sector

Adani Enterprises already has a diverse portfolio. There are 16 subsidiaries operating under it across different sectors. Some of its notable subsidiaries include Adani Cement, Adani Digital Labs, Adani Airports Holdings, Adani Wilmar, AMG Media Networks, and many more. With this new subsidiary, Adani Enterprises will be able to take one step towards further diversifying its business and building an enhanced reputation in this dynamic market scenario. The company will also be able to rise above its competitors and earn an extraordinary reputation for itself. It will be able to increase its revenue generation and further expand its customer base. All the controversies surrounding the Adani Investigation will also subside.

Conclusion

By incorporating Adani GCC, the Adani Group plans to further expand its portfolio and build itself a remarkable position in the global business sector. It also aims to diversify its business and build itself the reputation of being one of the biggest conglomerates on a global scale.
