360 CLINIC JOINS CALIFORNIA’S STATEWIDE COVID-19 VACCINE PROVIDER NETWORK TO DISTRIBUTE LIFE-SAVING DOSES THROUGH 20 OF ITS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TESTING SITES

As Southern California’s COVID-19 Testing Champion, 360 Clinic Will Leverage Its Existing Locations and Close Ties to Underserved, Highly Impacted Communities to Distribute Vaccine, Combat Treatment Hesitancy, Increase Education and Continue Its Battle for Accessible Care at the Frontlines of the Pandemic

360 Clinic, the official COVID-19 testing partner for the Orange County Health Department, is joining California’s statewide vaccine provider network managed by the state’s third-party administrator Blue Shield of California to expand offerings at 20 of their existing testing sites in Southern California to include vaccine distribution beginning May 20. 360 Clinic is offering anyone who qualifies under the Federal CARES Act, even those without insurance, free COVID-19 vaccination. This collaboration will help 360 Clinic enhance its mission to provide top-tier healthcare to residents in vulnerable communities who need it most.

“We are honored to work with state and local health officials and Blue Shield on our shared efforts to provide greater accessibility to life-saving vaccines for those in need,” said Vince Tien, CEO and co-founder of 360 Clinic. “Blue Shield was looking for an effective, scalable way to deliver in-home vaccines to the elderly and underserved communities, so collaborating with 360 Clinic and our network of kiosks and mobile units was a natural fit. Our core concept and commitment is to activate solutions within the communities most operators cannot, or will not, reach.”

360 Clinic’s strong record of success in Orange County since the onset of COVID-19 in the United States, coupled with its close ties and earned trust within the Asian-American and Pacific Islander community, will be key in the health officials’ efforts to ramp up vaccinations in immigrant and underserved communities and help combat vaccine hesitancy.

“Our common goal is to save more lives by making COVID-19 vaccines available to all Californians, especially those living in communities that have been hardest hit by the pandemic,” said Aliza Arjoyan, senior vice president of provider partnerships and network management, Blue Shield of California. “Together with 360 Clinic, we will try to reach as many people as possible and overcome this public health crisis.”

With Blue Shield’s support, 360 Clinic will roll out vaccine distribution services to 20 of the 40+ existing 360 Clinic sites within largely underserved and underinsured areas throughout Southern California, especially in places where there is a shortage of multilingual medical professionals.

“Many people are simply afraid of getting the vaccine – some from a health/safety perspective, some from a financial perspective,” said 360 Clinic’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Dung Trinh. “At 360 Clinic, we aim to provide the proper guidance necessary in these underserved, primarily-AAPI communities through our multilingual nurses and staff members. When English isn’t your primary language, being able to talk to a medical professional in your native language can alleviate a great deal of concern, confusion and/or miscommunication. This is especially important when combatting hesitancy to vital treatments, like that surrounding the COVID-19 vaccines, as it allows us to reassure patients, reduce their fears and improve their overall experience.”

360 Clinic remains focused on delivering COVID-19 vaccinations, testing and medical education to densely populated areas where many locals do not have easy access to pandemic-related healthcare. Led by physicians who come from immigrant families, 360 Clinic also prides itself on retaining multilingual staff and nurses who can bridge any communication gaps that other testing and/or vaccine providers struggle with. Real-time vaccination registration through the My Turn program is also available onsite, reducing any confusion, misinformation or intimidation associated with the process to a minimum.

In addition to these expanded vaccination offerings, the 360 Clinic team continues to serve local communities through its more than 40 neighborhood-based mobile vans and COVID-19 testing kiosks throughout Southern California and through their recent partnership with the U.S. Navy.
