HR Tech Group Evolves Regionally Acclaimed Tech Talent Conference to National, Virtual Tech Talent North on May 12-13, 2021

Experts focus on unique talent management and culture challenges in fast-moving tech industry

VANCOUVER, British Columbia–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#hrtechgroupHR Tech Group is excited to announce the launch of Tech Talent North, Canada’s people and culture conference for the tech industry.

Originally founded in 2002, HR Tech Group’s Tech Talent Conference carved out a reputation as a thoughtful and highly curated bi-annual forum for Human Resources leaders in BC’s thriving tech community. Now, HR Tech Group is excited to announce that it has partnered with Cube Business Media Inc., a preeminent national producer of B2B conferences, to take the event to new heights.

This scaled-up and re-branded version of the acclaimed conference – now known as Tech Talent North – will pivot to an annual conference that is national in scope, drawing tech talent game changers from coast-to-coast.

“People attend our conferences to hear from the most progressive companies, learn about the most innovative human resources ideas in tech, and to collaborate and build their networks. Our association has grown substantially over the years, and many of our member companies have operations across Canada. It’s time for our conference to take a national focus to support peer-to-peer learning and collaboration across the country,” says Stephanie Hollingshead, CEO, HR Tech Group.

This year, leaders in Canadian tech are coming together online May 12 – 13, 2021 to learn, share, network and grow at a virtual Tech Talent North. They will discuss rapidly changing people and culture trends, expectations and strategies and get tactical tools to scale up, continue to innovate and get the most out of their teams.

“Whether they thrived or survived in 2020, organizations have had to continually re-write their talent playbook to meet challenges with remote workforces and radical pivots,” says Dave Tyldesley, Co-founder of Cube Business Media Inc. and Producer of Tech Talent North. “People are the biggest asset of any organization. In a fast-moving industry like tech, attracting top talent and retaining them with a positive work culture is a foundational pillar of any company. We are excited to fill the demand for a national conference to address the issues specific to HR in Canadian tech.”
