Bengaluru, 17th Aug, 2022: JoulestoWatts, a leading talent solutioning company, opened its new office in Bengaluru today, in the presence of Hon’ble Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan, Minister of Higher Education, Information Technology & Biotechnology and Science & Technology in the Government of Karnataka. The company is planning to hire 15,000 employees this year, as the organisation enters India’s top 03 IT staffing service provider.
The new corporate headquarters to further strengthen its footprint, providing adequate capacity as the firm looks to future proof itself. Given the war for talent, great resignation, momentum of the global IT industry and allied factors assuring rising demand for talent architecture, JoulestoWatts intends to double its consultant’s base. The new expansion will open up avenues for niche talent, gig experts, specialized talent in advanced tech skills and management practitioners providing all-encompassing leadership, leveraging best practices and delivering enhanced value to customers. This will cater to our aspiration to have 30 per cent of tech hiring by captives.
According to a recent report by Nasscom-Zinnov, by 2026, India is estimated to have 75-78 lakh tech professionals, however the requirement may be of 93-96 lakh techies, reflecting a gap of 14-19 lakh tech workforce. India has the potential to become the world’s second-largest cloud talent hub but faces the challenge to serve an estimated demand for over 2 million professionals by 2025 professionals by 2026.
