KBRA Assigns Preliminary Ratings to Flagship Credit Auto Trust 2021-3
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#KBRA–Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) assigns preliminary ratings to five classes of notes issued by Flagship Credit Auto Trust 2021-3 (“FCAT 2021-3”), an asset-backed securitization collateralized by a pool of auto loans.
FCAT 2021-3 will issue five classes of notes totaling $377.98. FCAT 2021-3 represents the third term ABS securitization in 2021 for FC HoldCo LLC. The underlying loans in the FCAT 2021-3 were originated by Flagship Credit Acceptance LLC (“Flagship” or the “Company”) and CarFinance Capital LLC (“CarFinance”) and are serviced by Flagship. The preliminary ratings reflect initial credit enhancement levels of 30.40% for the Class A notes, 22.70% for the Class B notes, 12.40% for the Class C notes, 5.60% for the Class D notes and 1.50% for the Class E notes. Credit enhancement consists of overcollateralization, subordination (except for the Class E notes), a reserve account funded at closing and excess spread.
KBRA applied its Auto Loan ABS Global Rating Methodology, as well as its Global Structured Finance Counterparty Methodology and ESG Global Rating Methodology as part of its analysis of the portfolio pool data, underlying collateral pool and capital structure. KBRA considered its operational reviews of Flagship, as well as periodic update calls with the Company. Operative agreements and legal opinion will be reviewed prior to closing.
