Northwest Federal Donates over $17,000 to Local Food Pantries

HERNDON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Northwest Federal Credit Union recently met with representatives from food pantries across Northern Virginia, providing donations in support of their programs to address food insecurity in the local community. In total, Northwest Federal donated $17,500 to eight food pantries.


“When the nation experienced massive layoffs last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, many families in our area had an urgent need for food assistance,” said President and CEO of Northwest Federal, Jeff Bentley. “Our Community Partners were able to provide resources to people when they needed it most, and we’re honored to be able to support their continued efforts.”
