Prepnlearn is Providing Quality Preparation for Various Exams at Cost of 2 pizzas

Pushkar, CEO, believes preparation strategy needs to be goal focused and is continuously working with his team to build Perfect Learning Solutions that is affordable, accessible and same time trustworthy that is capable of making students exam ready

Aurangabad, Bihar Aug 11, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – Sonu Kumar and Pushkar Singh founded the EdTech platform Prepnlearn to focus on interactive learning for classes up to K-12 and exam preparations of various competitive exams. Sniffing opportunity in the eLearning field, the Bihar-based startup eventually decided to bring online learning at a very affordable cost so that every student can have access to it.

“Accessing good quality education has always been the biggest hurdle for students in small towns of India. Prepnlearn is looking to solve just that,” says Sonu Kumar, Founder at Prepnlearn.

The platform, run under Prepnlearn Pvt Ltd, offers courses for JEE, NEET, Foundation Courses, and government exam preparation, with a hybrid model that provides offline and online teaching facilities to aspirants from Tier II, III, and IV cities.

The Startup currently in present operates in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand.

A one-year JEE prep course here costs anywhere between Rs 1,500 and Rs 3,000 while a one-year classroom program for 6-10 costs between Rs 500 and Rs 1,500.

Lectures are provided in form of interactive animated videos in English as well as the Hindi Language on their platform android app. Live Sessions are also taken through the app for students to give them a better understanding and exposure.

A team of just two in 2017, they started building a community platform of subject experts involving teachers, college students, and professionals to freelance with the startup to help with the practice.

With time the team grew and is now having 20+ core members who look after the day-to-day working of prepnlearn.

“Not everyone is able to afford smart education provided by biggest players in the market. So we build Prepnlearn to solve their need,” says Ashish Baljeet Poonia, Senior Faculty Head at Prepnlearn.

The app targets students from LKG-12th standard, CBSE, ICSE, and state-boards both in Hindi and English Medium. Prepnlearn is using artificial intelligence to understand the students’ behavior and learning pattern. Based on algorithms’ results, the mentors at Prepnlearn guide the students for further improvements.

The learning and study materials available on the app can be accessed by everyone. The startup claims that the content and chapter-wise solutions offered by the app are complete in themselves and are provided by experts of respective fields.

The app also offers detailed reports of the quiz section, which is free to participate in, showcasing the student’s progress, and highlighting their respective strengths and weakness. Mentors are further assigned to individual students to provide them guidance for answering queries and to motivate them psychologically. The tests and quizzes are designed to provide students with an experience of the examination environment.

Santosh Singh, Director Prepnlearn Pvt. Ltd. says, “During the initial market survey, we realized the need for an app, which builds a community for the students. They can connect with fellow students, who are in similar condition and are located across the country. We are targeting 20k+ downloads in the current financial year. Our major market share will come from tier-2 and tier-3 cities. There is a huge demand-supply gap coming from that area, due to the lack of quality tutors. Also, an app like ours will be extremely helpful for the students, who have lost bread earners of their family and don’t have sufficient funds, for extra coaching.”

The EdTech sector has witnessed a surge in the online education domain, and it is one of the most funded sectors in 2020. Venture Capital investments in Ed-tech start-ups have almost tripled from January to July 2020 to $998 million, from $310 million, a year ago.
