Progility Technologies Announces Changes to Leadership Team to Further Drive Customer-Centric Transformation and Growth

Melbourne, 15th August, 2024 – Progility Technologies (Progility) is pleased to announce key leadership appointments aimed at further accelerating the company’s growth and operational excellence. Effective immediately, David Gilmour has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Megan Hossack steps into the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and Kerry Mitropoulos joins as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

David Gilmour brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned CEO, consultant, board director, and investor/owner. Early in his career, David spent nearly 15 years in strategy consulting, initially at McKinsey & Company and later spending five years as a Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He then spent 13 years running businesses, including 8 years as CEO and co-owner of Ansett Aviation Training, which under his leadership became the largest airline pilot training centre in the southern hemisphere. More recently, he served as Managing Partner of Strategy & Customer Consulting Oceania at Ernst & Young, then founding his own firm, Gilmour & Associates. His expertise in strategic leadership and organisational transformation positions him as the ideal leader to guide Progility through its next phase of growth.

Megan Hossack will step into the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), continuing her crucial involvement in Progility’s leadership. Emigrating from South Africa, Megan has over 22 years of experience in executive roles across various industries, driving organisational transformation and positive cultural change along with improved governance. She has been instrumental in leading Progility through the last five years of significant growth and transformation. As CCO, she will continue to shape the company’s strategic direction and drive commercial success while maintaining a strong focus on serving our customers.

Kerry Mitropoulos joins Progility as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Kerry is a senior telecommunications professional with over 30 years of global management experience in deployment and technical management roles. His extensive industry experience includes leading wireless and fibre FTTX deployment projects across North and South America, Asia, Europe and Australia at companies such as Telstra, Nortel Networks and nbn. Kerry’s technical expertise and proven ability to manage complex projects will be invaluable as Progility continues its focus on growth, operational excellence, and customer-centricity.
